On 14 – 16 September 2020, the XXVIII Annual Conference of the Czech Association of Educational Research, entitled “Diversity in Support of Learning in Research Theory” took place in Ostrava. Tereza Benešová and Josef Kundrát presented the poster „Educational Role Playing Games in Mathematics“.
The poster focuses on creating an original pedagogical method that can motivate students to study science subjects, especially mathematics. In the creation of mathematical edularps, disciplinary didactic knowledge, game experience, science-oriented teaching and psychology are all intertwined. The post got a shared 2nd to 3rd place in the best poster presentation competition.
